Individual Therapy
Currently, my approach to therapy is a combination of feminist therapy paired with trauma treatments, such as EMDR and somatic experiencing. However, I integrate many other modalities, such as internal family systems, attachment theory, and mindfulness practices. I tailor the treatment to meet the needs of the client, focusing on understanding and responding to what you require, providing effective and practical solutions.
With trust, a safer space, and mutual respect and understanding, self-discovery and healing can begin as we can uncover imprints of the past, such as the development of unhelpful coping patterns, attachment wounds, traumas, or self-destructive or risky behaviours. Healing can only begin when you feel safe enough in the room and have the tolerance to understand your inner self.

Relationship Therapy
relationship counselling typically involves emotional-focused therapy and the Gottman Method. When working with the folks in the relationship, often common issues include misunderstandings, unresolved conflict, criticism, and unattuned listening. These problems create barriers to intimacy, communication, and connection. Through our work together, partners can enhance their relationship by learning to interact more openly and listen more effectively, empathetically, and assertively, as well as build trust and identify life goals and responsibilities.
Common Issues I work with in couples or non-monogamous relationships:
- Communication
- Family conflict
- Boundaries
- Emotional Regualtion
- Dependancy & Co-dependancy
- Multi-cultural and intersectionality issues
- Identity & Sexuality concerns

Family Therapy
Family is a system, and when part of the system is separated, wounded, or isolated, the entire system is affected. Therefore, my approach focuses on improving interfamilial relationships, communication, and behaviour patterns in the family unit as a whole. I may focus on how family members function in different roles, such as partner, parent, or child. We may also explore how roles that have multiple overlapping identities, such as gender, sexuality, race, class, and religion and how these may affect the family unit. Each family member typically feels seen, heard, understood, and respected by members during and after family therapy.
Common Issues I work with, to name a few:
- Parenting & Co-parenting
- Emotional Regulation & Modeling
- Mixed/Blended Families
- Family Conflict
- Communication
- Caregiver Stress
